Light from the Sun

A great review for AOT from Sun theater critic Mary Carole McCauley. If "Le Cabaret de Carmen" is a performance you haven't been sure about, perhaps you think too outside the baroque tradition of AOT or too far from the opera mainstream, I can't stress enough how much you should come and check it out. It really is not to be missed!

You really are a genius, Tim. The opera was very edgy, though perhaps awkward in the beginning; by the end everything seemed to work nicely. I always enjoy seeing what new vision you have for each project, and I'm looking forward to whatever's next.

Thanks for coming Roy, I'm really glad you liked the show. I was really proud of it and proud of the work the cast did. Next is PhilĂp Glass'"Hydrogen Jukebox" in DC. Right now I'm working on next season which I think is going to be exciting. Its our fifth anniversary!
